Please don’t turn up in your best jumper for your adventure with us!

We all like to look our best but being comfortable, warm and relaxed is going to be the best way to enjoy your adventure – there’s nothing cool about trashing your new birthday trainers wearing them coasteering!

Here’s what we recommend…

  • Swimwear to go underneath a wetsuit.
  • Old shorts to go over the top of the wetsuit.
  • Sturdy, closed toe shoes (like trainers) / wetsuit boots, shoes you won’t mind getting wet (not crocks or flip flops).
  • A towel to get changed with when you come off the water.

  • Long sleeves and long trousers are best for mountain boarding.,
  • Closed toe shoes (like trainers) for archery, mountain boarding and axe throwing.

Our best advice – comfortable clothes suitable for the weather!

Basically, we’ll provide all the essential kit that you’ll need for whichever activity you book – so no need to worry about buying anything before you come to us!

As a guide, here’s what you can expect from us as well as great guided instruction…

We will provide all safety equipment (buoyancy aids and helmets) along with wetsuits, kayaks, and paddles!

We will provide knee and elbow pads, harnesses and helmets – whatever you need for your activity!

Most of our adventure activities are for young people aged 8 years or more.
The good news is that for Bushcraft we can take younger children as long as they are accompanied by a bigger person (aka a grown up age 18 years or more).

Other important (minimum) ages and stuff…

  • 10 years for Arrow Tag.
  • 12 years for Axe Throwing and Coasteering
  • 25 metres unaided swimming for Coasteering.
  • 3 stone in weight as a minimum (and 18 stone maximum) for Climbing please.

We have a couple of different centres so it does depend on where your activity is taking place…. here goes!

In short, the answer is no…. but you are always welcome to stay and spectate if you’d like to!

Young people often enjoy the freedom of being away with their friends or taking part in an activity where they’ll make new friends.

Should you decide to pop off elsewhere, we have a Parental Consent Form that we will ask you to complete so we have all your contact details and can get in touch if anything comes up and we need to speak to you.

For any changes you want to make to your bookings, it’s best to speak to us so please call us on 0800 180 4025 for a chat.

We always try to be as flexible as possible so you can make changes to your booking up to 14 days before the activity date quite easily. If it’s in the 2 weeks before your activity, we will try our best to facilitate your changes but we can’t guarantee anything so please let us know the sooner the better!

Our terms and conditions

Sometimes ‘life’ happens, and we understand that this might mean you’re not able to take part in your original activity adventure that’s been booked.

Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can see if a another date is available, or a different activity would be better for you.

However, please do read our Terms and Conditions for full booking details and note that unfortunately we are not able to offer refunds for cancellations less than 14 days prior to the activity.

Our terms and conditions

Sadly, we can’t control the weather (we know, it’s a surprise but it’s true!).

That means that very occasionally an activity may need to be changed or postponed from our side simply because we’re dependent on weather conditions, particularly the sea.

The good news is… we will always provide an alternate activity were possible, reschedule, or provide a gift voucher/refund.

Our terms and conditions

Yes! We aim to be as inclusive as possible. Occasionally we have to work with you to adapt an activity to your needs but we always try to ensure everyone can share the fun and experience as that’s an essential part of what we do.

All you need to do is talk to us then we’ll find a solution that suits your group, the activity and the conditions.

We’re open 9.00am – 5.00pm, 7 days a week and only close for a week at Christmas (just to re-charge our batteries for the next awesome year of adventure and memory-making!).
