Young people have always been the fundamental building block of our business.

Why? Because young people are our future leaders, explorers, teachers, doctors, parents and carers… so don’t they deserve our attention, mentoring and support?

Believing in young people and their potential underpins what we do, and how we develop our activity programmes. We don’t mean just delivering a great mountainboarding session but helping a young person grow in confidence, express themselves, be more resilient and go on to achieving more than they believed when they first showed up at Adventure Activities!

INSPIRING EDUCATION

Curriculum enrichment programmes are, in our opinion, about a carefully constructed blend of fun, new experiences and enhanced learning through outdoor education. It could be via a forest school programme or working as a team to ‘beat the flood’. Maybe learning about themselves and others whist keeping each other safe during a climbing session or could be another of our carefully tailored activities and experiences.

OUR ETHOS

We see all our activities as a vehicle for personal development. All our activities, whilst delivered around individual needs, have a broad focus based on building independence, working with others, experiencing new things, experimenting with new different forms of learning, developing an appreciation and respect for the outdoors and skill development.

Most activities have the option of building a foundation towards being able to attain a qualification or certificate in the near future.
